We had a late start for the morning (finally). Then off to the town, to tour the local anglican cathedral —
St George's. We met up with George Turcotte for our personalized tour. What a hoot. This guy is a genuine storyteller from the days of old and before we knew it, almost two hours had past and we had not made it up to the altar. Regretfully, we had to depart since we had passage for the midday tour of the 1,000 Islands (which really number around 1,800). Off to the local park for a quick lunch and then we boarded our tour boat. Having seen many outcropping of islands, the first part of the tour was more listening to the historical narrative, along with a local guitar/banjo player. Brian and Chris were just beginning o question our decision of a three hour tour when we

finally arrived at the intended destination — the “admiral islands” — definitely worth the trip. Beautiful settings and lovely cottages/homes. Before we knew it, we were back in downtown Kingston. After such a lovely ride, we decided to head to the roof top patio of
Jack Astor’s Bar & Grill for a lovely view of Kingston, presenting us with a different vantage point of Kingston. Chris noticed the “sheep” processing up a street. We just had to share the view with the others gathered on the roof—and camera we're brought out by all. We all assumed it be connected to the nearby sheepherding event since a shepherd was tending the flock. Afterwards we returned to the boat. Tomorrow, Chris will depart for the airport — time has flown by quickly for all of us.
